Even the best journeys end. But a new one is right around the corner.

So OverWatch 2 has finally been released. After years of waiting we're finally on a New journey, sadly the old one had to come to an end.

Just as sojourn said, "Even the best journeys end."

OverWatch has a special place in my heart. I've been playing it since it released, and I'm one of those few players who stuck with it. Even when there was a massive content drought. But now looking at the future I'm fairly positive about OverWatch 2, the gameplay generally looks pretty decent and I did partake in both betas that they had for the game and my overall impression of 5v5 is actually positive.

It's really fast-paced and fun but something just feels like it's lacking in it's gameplay? I don't know what it is, just feels empty? It might be because we didn't have any options for custom games or the arcade but I'm hoping that when everything is fully released they have a bunch of new heroes built up and they'll just slam them out one after another to really get the gears going.

But the thing I'm excited for the most has to be the PVE, I've always felt like OverWatch needed a mode to relax in after grinding and playing for so long. As someone who plays destiny a PVE mode would be perfect. Similar to how destiny has the PVP mode built into it it's great to switch between these modes based on how your day's going. You know, sometimes I just want to relax and just shoot some bots and sometimes I want a hardcore pvp match.

I think that it's great that OverWatch is trying to target this audience and hopefully a lot of my destiny friends will move back to OverWatch.

All of them left throughout the years due to the increasing amount of CC in the game and supports that literally deny everything you do. I mean my friend literally quit during a match and never came back to OverWatch because he got screwed over by an immortality field in his dragon blade. So hopefully with the new 5v5 format immortality field from bap is no longer a problem, he seems pretty bad in 5v5 right now and I'm hoping they don't buff him, but time will tell.
